The Counseling Center offers short-term individual counseling to address a variety of issues common to college students such as concerns about relationships with friends and family, feelings of anxiety or depression, changes in one's identity and values, and uncertainty about the future.
You and your counselor will periodically check your progress in achieving your desired goals for counseling. If you or your counselor believe that counseling is not working for you, the two of you might try a different counseling approach, reassess your goals, or consider a referral to another counselor.
You can schedule an initial appointment by calling (610) 330-5005, visiting the 2nd floor of the Bailey Health Center, or emailing us at counselingcenter@lafayette.edu.
