Brice earned his B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Education, and Social Work and Social Welfare Certificate from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He is a doctoral student in the Psy.D. program at Marywood University where he earned his M.A. in Psychology. His theoretical orientation is primarily CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) based, and he often integrates techniques from ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy) and TA-CBT (Transgender-Affirmative Cognitive Behavior Therapy). Brice has completed previous clinical training at a community mental health center as well as the Marywood University Counseling and Student Development Center, and he is thrilled to continue his training at the Lafayette College Counseling Center. He hopes to be the director of a college counseling center one day, providing mental health care to a diverse range of college students in whichever location life takes him.
