Aliya Kenyatta earned her B.A. in African American Studies from Temple University and her Master of Social Work from Marywood University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and has over 15 years of experience working with college students. Aliya believes relationships are the connective tissue to human wellbeing. She assists students with increasing their relational education (overall and individually speaking), understanding how relational patterns are affecting their current state of being, and ultimately creating their own healthy relationships. Aliya is also a certified yoga instructor who emphasizes the importance of physiological wellness and regulating the nervous system, specifically while navigating a PWI as a student with historically marginalized identities.
