Dr. Pendse received her B.A. and M.A. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Pune, India and her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Lehigh University. Her theoretical orientation is integrative and strengths-based, and combines principles and strategies of interpersonal, humanistic, and cognitive therapies. Dr. Pendse views students within the context of a multicultural and intersectionality framework which acknowledges that college students are influenced by their socio-cultural, systemic, and contextual environments. She strives to establish a safe and collaborative space that encourages students to explore their experiences and find their authentic self that is reflective of their own values and goals. She has a particular interest in working with international and BIPOC students. Originally from India, she is fluent in Marathi, Hindi, and English.
