Manisha earned her MA in Applied Psychology from Rutgers University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Seton Hall University. She has worked with college students at the Center for Psychological Services at Rutgers University. Her theoretical orientation is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavior Therapies (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). She believes that time at college is a vital developmental stage in an individual’s life, and she would like to help anyone struggling with anxiety, depression, academic stress, or interpersonal relationships in this stage. She conducts therapy through a multicultural perspective, acknowledging diversity and intersecting identities. Manisha aims to create a safe environment for her clients to develop a trusting relationship and a positive therapeutic experience.
